This is a 2 hour course aimed at addressing the training requirement for safe Manual Handling.

Most places of work will require some element of Manual Handling when it comes to movement of loads. No matter how small the lift, injuries can occur. Manual Handling Operations account for the largest percentage of workplace ill health today. With appropriate training, injury and ill-health can be significantly reduced.
The Manual Handling Operations Regulations require the Employer to eliminate Manual Handling where a significant risk of harm exists. Where this cannot be done then a Manual Handling Assessment must be undertaken. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations require the Employer to provide Manual Handling training appropriate to the workplace activities undertaken. This is a 2 hour course aimed at addressing the training requirement for safe Manual Handling.
