The Test takes approximately 1 hour depending on the candidate. If the candidate fails to reach the required standard for the NXCT Test, they will be allowed 3 re-sit attempts in any 6 month period. The NXCT is required to be taken every 13 months by persons who operate cargo X-Ray machines and have completed the relevant training modules.
